D48 to Debut Energy Saving Climate Control Technology

LOMA LINDA, Calif. – D48 Energy Management will promote their new energy cost saving cooling technology, CX30, to show at the Southern California Facilities Management & Green Buildings Expo, booth 339, on May 20 -21. D48 is one of  150 of the region’s top suppliers that will showcase solutions to over 50,000 commercial and industrial end-users that keep their operations running smoothly at the expo.

CX30 is an ultra efficient 2-20 ton water chiller heat pump technology for server rooms, hotels, offices and off-grid applications. “The CX30 requires about fifty percent less energy for the same cooling or heating tonnage as conventional equipment and has an ambient air option that provides free server room cooling up to forty percent of the time,” said Terry Vines, Head of California Distribution.“The CX30 also has a waste heat to hot water option that makes free hot water while it’s cooling offices, hotel rooms and kitchens.”

The CX30 draws about 3-Amps at start-up with an operational range of 25% to 115% of capacity, depending on demand, by up to seven factory supplied or generic hydronic FCUs per ODU, making it ideal for solar air conditioning applications. The CX30 is easily scalable up to 20-Tons of sustainable climate control and effectively heats down to -14F integrating well with solar thermal and boiler infrastructure.
