Deadline Nears to Secure State Tax Credits

Workshop to help businesses use SBVEZ tax credits before they expire

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2013) –The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) is hosting a complimentary workshop on Tuesday, November 5 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event will be held at the Norton Regional Events Center, 1601 East Third Street, San Bernardino.

This “EZ 101” workshop will cover local enterprise zone tax credits and address the numerous questions about how the program will end. Business owners will get the latest information about how they can act now to save money on their future state taxes before the credits expire. Local business owners, accounting managers, human resource professionals and other decision makers are invited to attend.

With only a couple months left to secure enterprise zone credits, the SBVEZ is encouraging San Bernardino and Colton businesses located in the zone to find out if they qualify before time runs out. Any qualified new hires or taxes paid on certain equipment purchases made prior to December 31 deadline may be eligible for SBVEZ credits.

To register for the workshop contact Zone Manager Wendy Clements at 909.382.4538, or info@sbvez.com. To find out if your business is in the zone visit www.sbvez.com.
