Department of State Hospitals -Patton Employees Continue to Make a Difference in the Local Community

San Bernardino, Ca. (September 16, 2013)–This past year, Department of State Hospitals- Patton – employees contributed more than $40,000 to local community programs through their support of the California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC), said hospital Executive Director Carlos Luna.

“I’m very proud of the generosity of our employees,” said Luna. “They exemplify the very best of public service.”

In supporting CSECC, DSH-Patton partnered with Arrowhead United Way, local administrator of the campaign. Arrowhead United Way assists a wide variety of vital local programs that support education and academic success, promote family financial stability and improve health. Afterschool activities, scouting, youth self-sufficiency, legal aid, food banks, dental and vision care and senior assistance are just some of the types of services that benefit from the charitable donations of DSH-Patton employees to CSECC.

“Our employees have a longstanding tradition of supporting the California State Employees Charitable Campaign, through their time, their talents and their financial contributions. Luna said.
