(Lake Gregory Regional Park, Crestline, CA) – Easter weekend, kids will first participate in an egg and candy hunt sponsored by the Crestline Community Development Alliance Committee. There will be lots of candy for children to find, with separate hunts for three age groups to ensure all children have an equal opportunity. There is no charge for this event, the Easter egg hunt will begin at 11:30 a.m.
After the egg hunt, the duck derby race will begin at 1:00 pm. Ducks will be released down the winding 320 foot long slides at Lake Gregory Regional Park. They will float out of the splash pool and into the lake. The first duck to reach the finish line wins $1,000.
Tickets for the duck derby can be purchased at several businesses in the Lake Gregory Community. Duck tickets are $5.00 per duck or family of four is $15.00. You may also purchase tickets online via PayPal at www.lakegregoryduckderby.com.
