Echo-Factory Wins Overall Best of Show at IE ADDY Awards

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – Echo-Factory won Overall Best of Show and five Gold ADDY awards at the Inland Empire ADDY Awards Gala. The ADDYs, which took place March 9 at the Mission Inn in Riverside, Calif., recognize outstanding creative work in advertising at the local, regional and national level.

“Winning at the ADDYs affirms that our peers respect our work, but more importantly for us, it means the work we’re doing for our clients is strong,” said Mike Schaffer, Echo-Factory Principal.

For Schaffer and the rest of the Echo-Factory team, clients come first. The agency strives to create advertising campaigns that are effective as well as creative.

“We love awards, but if it’s between creating advertising that will create results for the client or creating something that will win us an award, we’ll choose results every time,” said Dea Goldsmith, Echo-Factory Principal and Creative Director.

All of the agency’s ADDY entries were campaigns that achieved results for clients way before winning awards. For instance, Echo-Factory partnered with the City of Upland to help the city promote its annual lemon festival last year. The agency rebranded the event, providing a new logo, tagline and a multi-media campaign that included posters, flyers, banners, KVCR sponsor segments and direct mail. The campaign resulted in record-breaking attendance and a substantial increase in profits for the festival. Both the logo and the campaign were awarded gold ADDYs this year.

Echo’s ADDY awards demonstrate the agency delivers creative, results-driven work across a wide range of media. Echo’s Best of Show winner was a business-to-business direct marketing kit designed to help 1on1 Financial, an investment management firm, follow up with past and potential clients.
The agency’s other Gold ADDYs were for the website it created for action sports manufacturer, Kali Protectives, and for the package design of Believe, a line of environmentally-friendly cleaning products. Silver and Bronze ADDYs were also awarded for the agency’s work in categories including business to consumer website, business-to-business website, online video, brochure/catalog, logo and mixed media campaign.
