Employers Offer Approximately 800 Jobs at the Inland Empire West End Spring Job Fair

WHAT: The Inland Empire West End Spring Job Fair will connect job seekers with local employers offering approximately 800 jobs.  Fields include professional, managerial, technical, warehouse, clerical, medical, retail, service, sales, security, law enforcement and more.

WHO: Employers may register by contacting Shanna Williams at swilliams@wdd.sbcounty.gov and must submit applications by April 12. Job seekers can get more information about positions offered at this job fair by calling 800.451.JOBS. There is no charge for employers or job seekers to participate.

WHEN:    Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Inland Empire West End Job Fair is supported by the County of San Bernardino Board of Supervisors and County of San Bernardino Workforce Investment Board. Organizers include the City of Chino, City of Fontana, City of Montclair, City of Ontario, City of Rancho Cucamonga, City of Upland, County of San Bernardino Workforce Investment Board, LA/Ontario International Airport, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, First Presbyterian Church of Upland, and KSPA Radio.

About the Workforce Investment Board of San Bernardino County

The Workforce Investment Board of San Bernardino County (WIB) is comprised of private business representatives and public partners appointed by the County of San Bernardino Board of Supervisors.  The WIB strives to strengthen the skills of the County’s workforce through partnerships with business, education and community-based organizations. The County of San Bernardino Board of Supervisors is committed to providing county resources, which generate jobs and investment.

The WIB, through the County of San Bernardino’s Economic Development Agency and Workforce Development Department, operates the County of San Bernardino’s Employment Resource Centers (ERCs) and Business Resource Centers (BRCs). The ERCs provide individuals with job training, placement and the tools to strengthen their skills to achieve a higher quality of life. The BRCs support and provide services to the County’s businesses including employee recruitment.
