Enjoy Holiday Festivities at the 11th Annual Festival of Winter

Fontana, California, December 3, 2010. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to attend the 11th Annual Festival of Winter on Saturday, December 11.

The Festival of Winter festivities begin at 11:00 am at Miller Park located at 17004 Arrow Boulevard in Fontana.  This free community event features many activities for the whole family. Activities include music, live entertainment, a trackless train, pictures with Santa, fun zones, local vendors, a photo booth for creating holiday greeting cards and a play zone with over 50 tons of snow! Performances and other activities also take place in the Lewis Library and at the Steelworkers’ Auditorium.

This year, the public is encouraged to get into the “gift-giving spirit” by participating in a food and toy drive supporting City Link, a program setup to aid and support those in need. To be a part of the gift giving experience, bring non-perishable canned foods or unwrapped toys to the Festival of Winter and receive the opportunity to create a personal holiday image to share with friends and family.

Every year the Festival of Winter event draws in more than 10,000 patrons from Fontana and surrounding communities. Don’t miss out on this year’s exciting Festival of Winter!
