SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Aug. 16, 2011) – The entertainment line-up has been announced for the 22nd Annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous®, being held September 15 – 18, 2011.

“We are really excited with this year’s entertainment schedule,” states JoAnn Webb, director of corporate relations for the Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous, which is produced by The San Bernardino Convention & Visitors Bureau.  “With some of the returning favorites, and the addition of the Beatles tribute band and classic favorites like Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker, there are melodies to satisfy everyone’s taste in music.”

Paul LeMat, the legendary celebrity from American Graffiti will be signing autographs during the event. He drove the ’32 Yellow Roadster in the ever-so-popular movie about high school friends cruising in their cars before heading off to college.

The Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous is California’s hottest cruisin’ classic car show that transforms the 35-blocks of historical downtown San Bernardinointo an automotive extravaganza with 1,700 hot rods, classics and custom cars cruising.  This event is free to the public who will enjoy the classic cars, music and entertainment, sponsor displays, legendary guests, contests and vendors.   Tickets for entertainment at the California Theatre of Performing Arts can be purchased at www.californiatheatre.net
