Entertainment Line-Up Announced for the IE Foodie Weekend

(Ontario, California) While the main attraction on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 at Citizens Business Bank Arena might be the gourmet food, the IE Foodie Weekend has a lot more planned for attendees. Throughout the weekend, local acts from blues, salsa and rock will take the entertainment stage.

The music lineup for May 6 includes the following!

Fun for all ages at the IE Foodie Weekend

There’s a little something for everyone – the kids will enjoy fun craft projects, and there’s plenty of physical exercise with rock climbing, the rope agility course and more.
Rope-A-Phobia

This is an amazing experience to play and watch! You’ll have your chance at 8 different rope course elements. The experience is suitable for most ages and in a fun and interactive way, provides self-discovery and guaranteed to be an experience that no one will ever forget.
Human Twirl Ride

This amazing game provides fun for up to four participants at a time. Strap in as you prepare to go for the ride of your life! Riders can work to spin this colorful Human Whirl themselves, or they can have a little help getting things moving.

Climb N Dangle Rock Wall

Hard Rock Wall is great for both kids and adults. It is invigorating, challenging, and most importantly, safe because of its auto-belay system.

The Street League Skateboarding DC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy will be at the IE Foodie Weekend! There will be “Tons of prizes, VIP ticket give-aways, raffles, scavenger hunts and meet the Street League Monster Girls.”

About the IE Food Truck Fest – Spotlighting the gourmet food truck movement that has exploded over the past few years, the IE Food Truck Fest is celebrating this new style of street food with a one stop location for one day in Southern California’s Inland Empire. The IE Food Truck Fest will showcase the delectable cuisine with a diverse mix of 40+ gourmet food trucks gathered at Citizens Business Bank Arena where the community can experience several epicurean delights all at one location. In addition to featuring these mobile eateries, there will be a kid’s fun zone featuring paint less paintball, rock climbing, bounce houses and more. Also live local music, business vendors, giveaways, and more. Sponsors include AEG Facilities, Levy Restaurants, Burrtec, and City of Ontario.

About the IE Dixie Salsa BBQ Competition – Brought to you by the Hispanic Business Alliance, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society the first annual IE Dixie Salsa BBQ Competition will take place at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Over 30 teams will compete for cash prizes and trophies. A Certified Barbeque Judging Class will be offered prior to the competition on May 4th. Over 70 local business vendors will be on site. A Live Music Youth Competition will support local groups with cash prizes and community support. In addition a car show, children’s activity zone, entertainment and more will provide a fun filled family event.
