Inland Empire, California – The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) in cooperation with the City of Fontana will host a town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 7 p.m. to discuss an upcoming recycled water pipeline construction project. The meeting will be held at the Don Day Neighborhood Center located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue in the city of Fontana.
The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) in cooperation with the City of Fontana will soon begin construction of a recycled water pipeline. The project will include approximately six-miles of recycled water pipeline beginning along Day Creek Channel between Airport Drive and Jurupa Street in the city of Ontario. It will then travel south along the channel, east on East Francis Street which becomes Marlay Avenue, south on Banana Avenue and continue northeast on Cherry Avenue, north on Live Oak Avenue, and southeast on Village Drive, then travel along Declez Channel. It will continue northeast along the channel to connect to an existing recycled water recharge line within IEUA’s Regional Plant No. 3.
The pipeline project will benefit the residents and businesses of Fontana and Ontario by providing recycled water for landscape irrigation and groundwater recharge.
