Lake Elsinore 2019 Veterans Day Observation Ceremony at Diamond Stadium

Join us to honor those who have bravely served our Country in the United States Armed Forces.

Lake Elsinore, Ca -On November 10, 2018, the City held its annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony honoring America’s Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who have bravely answered the call to defend our freedom. This year, the City of Lake Elsinore was honored to be selected as one of only four municipalities statewide to be designated as a prestigious 2018 Veterans Day Regional Site by the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

At the ceremony, Mayor Natasha Johnson and Keynote Speaker, World War II Veteran Staff Sergeant Richard Harthun shared a few words about our veterans. For the 2018 ceremony, the City engraved 37 new bricks purchased by our community to honor a hero in their lives. In total, more than 350 engraved bricks now surround the City’s Veterans Memorial at Diamond Stadium.
