The Corona History Association (CHA) invites the community to the Annual Tribute to the Founding of Corona, California. The tribute event will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Circle City Center (365 N. Main Street).
This fun event includes dinner, entertainment and the Induction of Legendary Coronans that have “Made Corona Proud” through their contributions and/or accomplishments.
This year, the Corona History Association will honor Fred Eldridge, longtime owner/editor of the “Corona Daily Independent,” David Felix, Corona native and the first Hispanic mayor of Corona and May Grow Stobbs, the first woman in the State of California to be elected as a city Treasurer (1918) and later appointed to a judgeship.
