Fontana, Calif.– Welcome to the 2018 Inland Empire Senior Games. To kick off the competition, the Fontana Community Senior Center is hosting a Health Fair on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Senior Center (16710 Ceres Ave.).
The Health Fair includes more than 30 health and wellness vendors, health screenings, light refreshments, free opportunity drawings and entertainment. Be sure to bring your family and friends.
The Inland Empire Senior Games begins with the Health Fair then continues with a variety of events held through San Bernardino County until Saturday, October 6, 2018. The event schedule is as follows:
- Friday, September 21: Fontana Senior Center Health Fair
- Sunday, September 23: 5K/10K Walk or Run, Hotshot/Free Throw, 3-on-3 Basketball and Pickleball
- Monday, September 24: Golf
- Tuesday, September 25: Softball
- Friday, September 28: Tennis
- Saturday, September 29: Tennis
- Sunday, September 30: Tennis and Swimming
- Monday, October 1: Billiards
- Tuesday, October 2: Horseshoes
- Wednesday, October 3: Bowling
- Friday, October 5: Senior Resource Health Fair
- Saturday, October 6: Closing Ceremonies Dinner Dance

The Fontana Community Senior Center has been a host venue for the Inland Empire Senior Games for the past three years. “The Senior Games is such a great event and the Fontana Community Senior Center is excited to partner with the City of San Bernardino to put together these games for the older athletes in the community,” says Tiffany Starks, Community Services Supervisor.
