More than 800 of the best trombonists from around the globe traveled to the University of Redlands to attend this week’s 46th International Trombone Festival. The world’s largest event of its kind, the festival showcases amazing talent, premieres new work and facilitates the exchange of expertise and knowledge. On Friday, June 30, top performers will treat the town of Redlands to a headline performance in the opening concert for the 94th annual Redlands Summer Music Festival in the historic Redlands Bowl.
