Shiza Shahid at The University of Redlands

Shiza Shahid, co-founder of the Malala Fund and one of TIME’s “30 Under 30 People Changing the World” will speak at the University of Redlands, 7 p.m. October 15 in Orton Center on the main campus at 1200 E. Colton Ave., Redlands. This event is free and open to the public, and free parking is available adjacent to the venue.
The Malala Fund, which Shahid co-founded with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, was established to create access to high-quality education for all children around the world. In her other role, as an entrepreneur, Shahid launched NOW Ventures in Silicon Valley, which invests in mission-driven technology startups that are solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges through technology, innovation, and high-growth business models.
