Spamalot comes to University of Redlands

Those who “always look on the bright side of life” and those who don’t will still agree that Monty Python’s Spamalot is the musically hilarious fun that needs to be part of anyone’s fall theatre schedule. Fortunately, the University of Redlands Theatre Arts Department is presenting Spamalot over two weekends—at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 3-4, 10-11 and at 2 p.m. Sundays, November 5 and 12 in the Glenn Wallichs Theatre on the University of Redlands campus.

Laugh and sing along as King Arthur, a bumbling ruler destined by mystical forces, attempts to lead his nation to greatness. Astride his mighty steed, which is powered by coconut shells, he travels between the Middle Ages and Broadway on a quest to find the holy grail and bring order to the chaos that troubles his nation. Due to mature language and some staged “violence,” parental guidance advised.

General admission is $12, or $8 for seniors or students with University I.D.

Tickets are available at http://www.redlands.edu/currentproductions or by phone at 909-748-8028
