Veterans Day at Riverside National Cemetery
The program will begin at 11 a.m., November 11, 2018 in keeping with the tradition begun when the Armistice was signed at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, ending conflict in WWI.
The Riverside Concert Band will kick off the day with a patriotic music medley at 10:30 a.m.
Riverside National Cemetery Assistant Director Adriene Benton will deliver the welcome address on behalf of Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie.
We’re very excited to welcome this year’s keynote speaker SGT Enoch McClain USMC (President of Semper FI #1)
The program will include military honors performed by members of the Riverside National Cemetery Memorial Honor Detail, which is again presenting this year’s program.
