EZ 101 workshop introduces local businesses to enterprise zone’s benefits

SBVEZ tax credits reduce operating costs and help businesses grow and hire

WHAT: The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) is hosting a workshop to educate local businesses about the enterprise zone and how they may qualify to utilize its various tax credits and incentives.

Business owners, managing executives and human resource professionals are invited to learn about each tax credit and how to file for them.

The tax credits offered by the zone help businesses reduce their operating costs by thousands of dollars each year, which is increasingly important to coping with today’s economic climate. The program grants businesses these cost savings for doing business in the zone, contributing to the economic prosperity of the local community and hiring local workers that face barriers to employment.

The SBVEZ includes the city of Colton, city of San Bernardino and unincorporated portions of San Bernardino County. Businesses located in these areas may qualify.

WHEN: March 16, 2011, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

WHERE:  City of Colton, Gonzales Center
650 N. La Cadena Drive
Colton, CA 92324

RSVP: Space is limited. RSVP by March 14. For reservations and more information, contact Wendy Clements at (909) 382-4100 ext.230, or info@sbvez.com.
