Redlands, CA – A new concept in shopping is helping families stay within budgets when it comes to outfitting their children. Families once priced out of the name brand markets, are now able to purchase name brand clothing and baby gear for a fraction of the retail price thanks to Moo La La Boutique’s consignment sale held at The Mitten Building, March 11th-13th.
Moo La La Boutique has created a consignment event where consignors receive 65-70% of the selling price of their gently used children’s items and shoppers receive steep discounts on name brand clothing, toys and baby gear. Moo La La Boutique is the brain child of Carrie Anderson and Jacey Rhoads, two neighbors and stay at home mom’s to five children.
Everyone wins at consignment events like Moo La La Boutique. In addition to consignors making money and shoppers saving money, the community also wins. Each sale, Moo La La sends left over donations from the sale directly into the hands of those who need it. Moo La La Boutique is currently working with House of Decision in Cherry Valley and a Women’s/Maternity Home located in Ethiopia.
Moo La La Boutique is adding a new twist to the children’s consignment industry by featuring local mom-based businesses geared towards children and family. When we all come together as a community, it helps strengthen our local economy.
Carrie and Jacey first learned about consignment sales when they visited two similar sales in Southern California and found a wonderful resource that they knew their community could benefit from. “With how quickly our children grow and how expensive clothing can be, we want to provide a budget friendly way to purchase brand name, quality clothes at a discount.” says sale organizers Carrie and Jacey. They add that “We knew we had to bring this event to our area to help all the families we know.”
This is Moo La La Boutique’s first sale which will be held in the beautiful Summerbell Room at the Mitten Building in downtown Redlands. This is the first Consignment Sale of it’s kind in the area and the initial interest has been overwhelming.
