Fontana, Calif. – In the market to purchase a new vehicle that will save you money and help the environment? The City of Fontana’s Economic Development Department offers an Alternative Fuel Vehicle Program (AFVP) designed to encourage the purchase of alternative fuel or hybrid vehicles while increasing awareness of the benefits associated with driving a clean and high-efficiency vehicle. Eligibility:
The $500.00 rebate program applies to City of Fontana residents who purchase a new alternative fuel/high-efficiency vehicle from an authorized Fontana Dealership. Available on a first come, first serve basis. The program is ongoing until funds run out.
Minimum Program Requirements:
- Purchase a new qualifying alternative fuels/high-efficiency vehicle from any authorized Fontana Dealership. (Please click here for program overview definition of qualifying vehicle)
- Rebates are available on a first come, first serve basis for the duration of the program.
Issuance of rebate:
Payment will be issued by check and mailed to the applicant’s Fontana address.
