Fontana: Don Day Pool Opening Delayed

Fontana, California, May 2, 2011 – The Mayor and City Council announce that the opening of the Don Day Neighborhood Pool will be delayed two-weeks due to unforeseen repairs and upgrades. The pool shall open on Saturday, June 11, and resume programming as scheduled. The delay will result in the cancelation of all Session I swim lessons at the Don Day pool.

Fontana’s other pools sites will still open for the summer season on Saturday, May 28. The pools are located at the Heritage Neighborhood Center, 7350 W. Liberty Parkway, the Miller Fitness Center, 17004 Arrow Blvd. and the Fontana Park Aquatic Center at 15600 Summit Ave.
