FONTANA: A Parade of Superheros

Superheroes will be Parading through the Streets of Fontana

 
Fontana, California, May 28, 2012– The Mayor and City Council, along with the Fontana Exchange Club, invite residents to attend the 99th Annual Fontana Days Parade on Saturday, June 2. This year’s theme will be “Adventures of the Superheroes.” The parade will start at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Arrow Blvd and Sierra Ave. Participants will march south along Sierra Avenue to Merrill Avenue and then head east to Veterans Park where parade participants and spectators can enjoy the 99th Annual Fontana Days Festival, which runs from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

 
Organizations that participate in the parade will have the chance to win a top spot in the float contest. Following the parade, the three top winning floats will be awarded trophies and a monetary donation to a non-profit group of choice during the award ceremony at Veteran’s Park.
