Fontana Sports: Pee Wee T-Ball

Registration Begins on June 1

Fontana, California.  The Mayor and City Council invite the public to take advantage of Fontana Sports programs by registering their children for Pee Wee T-Ball beginning June 1.

Pee Wee Sports are six week programs designed to introduce participants to an organized practice and scrimmage game setting. Season format includes six one-hour practices and six one-hour games. Practice times are assigned based on program location and division.

Registration fees for the six-week program are $35 per child for residents and $45 for non-resident participants.  Registration is June 1 through July 7 for residents and July 1 through July 7 for non-residents.

Pee Wee T-Ball is for Children 3 to 7.  There are two divisions: Mighty Mites for children born from 2003-2005 and Junior Mites for children born from 2006-2007.  Monday and Wednesday sessions will be held at Southridge Park, 14501 Live Oak Ave., and Coyote Canyon Park, 5051 Duncan Canyon Rd., beginning August 8.  Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be held at Veteran’s Park, 17255 Merrill Ave., and McDermott Park, 7846 S. Heritage Loop, beginning August 9.  Practices and games are held during the week on the assigned program days.

Registration is taken on a first-come basis at all City of Fontana Community Centers.  Registration fees include a program shirt and award.  Program registration will not be accepted without the following required information: a waiver, release & indemnity agreement, birth certificate, signed parent’s oath and payment.
