Relay for Life is a 24-hour event where teams of participants camp out and take turns walking or running a track or path. A team representative is required to be on the track at all times because “cancer never sleeps”. According to the National Relay For Life website, “Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, cancer will be eliminated.”
Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to join an existing team or create a team on the Relay for Life websitewww.relayforlife.org/fontanaca. For more information please call (951) 662-5748.
