Fontana’s Art Depot Presents Landscapes and portraits by Mark T. Rush

Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to visit Mark T. Rush’s exhibit of beautiful landscapes and portraits at the Fontana Community Senior Center (FCSC) art gallery located at 16710 Ceres Avenue from August 2 to September 24.

Rush, a Delaware native, is a celebrated American painter best known for his colorful, complex paintings and his passion for the application of art in everyday life.  Rush’s career has been explosive since his artwork first debuted on a poster announcing the nineteenth birthday of Walt Disney World.  Since then, Rush has had 15 major solo exhibitions and 21 group exhibitions; and has produced artwork for MTV, VH1, Pepsi and other major companies.  Much of Rush’s artwork includes Jungian universal archetypes, the influences of great western masters and “savvy images of the street.”  His exhibit at the FCSC gallery is expected to showcase all of these qualities.

The Center’s gallery showcases different exhibits throughout the year and is available for public viewing during normal operating hours.  The art gallery is located on the Center’s upper level in the Library and Art Gallery Corridor.

The monthly artist showcase is a growing cornerstone of further art appreciation throughout the entire Fontana community. For more information about upcoming exhibits at the FCSC, please call (909) 349-6975 or visit arts.fontana.org.
