Fontana’s Cooling Facilities

Fontana, California – The Mayor and City Council invite the public to use the City’s cooling facilities to keep cool and hydrated during the summer.

Cooling facilities are places that the public can use to get relief from the heat. Each facility has seating areas, air conditioning and drinking water for residents to use and enjoy. The cooling facilities are available during the hottest parts of the day throughout the summer. Fontana’s cooling facilities are located at the following centers:

—     The Cypress Neighborhood Center at 8380 Cypress Ave. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. (909) 349-6988.

—     The Don Day Neighborhood Center at 14501 Live Oak Ave. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (909) 349-6997.

—     The Heritage Neighborhood Center at 7350 W. Liberty Pkwy. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (909) 349-6968.

—     The Jessie Turner Health & Fitness Center at 15556 Summit Ave. Open Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (909) 854-5100.

—     The Fontana Community Senior Center at 16710 Ceres Ave. Open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (909) 854-5151.
