Give BIG

GIVE BIG TO CAPSBC #JoinUs #HumanKindness #Hunger

San Bernardino, Calif. – Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) announces it’s participation in Give Big San Bernardino County is on October 30, 2018. For those unfamiliar, Give Big is a 24 hour on-line fundraising web-a-thon with hundreds of nonprofits throughout our County participating. This is the 5th year that CAPSBC has participated in this fundraising effort, which has helped hundreds of county nonprofits to raise over $1.3 million during that time. The event is hosted by The Community Foundation and is supported by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.

San Bernardino County nonprofits are greatly challenged to meet their client needs. There are 228,000 food insecure households and 35,000 homeless students in our public schools. One in four children live in poverty. Every day thousands of people look to a nonprofit for assistance.

Give Big San Bernardino County is not just about raising funds, it is also about raising awareness of the great work that nonprofits do each and every day. Nonprofits are making a difference in people’s lives and this work needs support.

The fundraising web-a-thon is on October 30th, a day where we can make a choice to support a worthy cause that would benefit our community.

The CAPSBC Food Bank provides 14 million pounds of food at no cost to 456,438 households each year and we invite you to support us on Friday October 30, 2018. You can visit our webpage at www.capsbc.org, or our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/capsbc for more information. All donations are welcome!
