“Giving Back” on Giving Tuesday, November 29 – Help Maintain and Expand Free Current-Duty Military Admission Program

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The March Field Air Museum will be participating in Giving Tuesday, set for November 29, 2016. This year, the museum is looking for community support to help give back to current-duty U.S. military personnel and their families. We encourage residents of Riverside County and the Inland Empire to go online and donate Tuesday, November 29—the day after “Cyber Monday.”

What is our focus this year for Giving Tuesday? Since its inception, the March Field Air Museum has welcomed current-duty military personnel to visit free of charge, year-round. Not only do we hope you’ll donate so we may continue to offer this benefit, we’d also like to expand the program in the coming year to welcome the families of current duty military personnel. So, we’re reaching out now to Riverside, Moreno Valley, and the entire Inland Empire. Your donations will help us cover our costs. Please join us on #GivingTuesday and help us in “Giving Back!” To donate,

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that celebrates and encourages charitable activities in support of nonprofit organizations. This special day occurs each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. To learn more about Giving Tuesday, visit www.givingtuesday.org. The March Field Air Museum’s goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise at least $5,000 to help defray the costs of ongoing operations and programming at the museum in 2017, with a special focus on providing free access to current-duty U.S. military personnel and their families.
