Glen Helen Regional Park gets state-of-the-art playground. Children ages 2 to 12 to enjoy challenging play experience

Glen Helen Park Play Ground

(San Bernardino, CA) A new state-of-the-art playground arrived at Glen Helen Regional Park, Devore, that will have children from toddlers to youth enjoying hours of creative play time. One look will tell you, this is not your parent’s playground!

There are two parts to the configuration: The WeevosTM structure is designed for children ages 2 to 5, with its intriguing slide and climbers is designed to capture a child’s imagination as they explore, learn and socialize. The more advanced EvosTM equipment was made for children ages 5 through 12. At first glance, this playground has a “space-age” look with its tubular climbers, hanging monkey bar rings, gyro twister, noodle pods, net climber, wobble pods (bouncers), and more. At its core, this system challenges a child’s imagination, strengthens muscles, and overall gives a child a creative, enjoyable play experience.

“Kids will have hours of fun and adventure on this type of equipment,” said A. J. Gerber, Park Superintendent. “It gives children a chance to stretch their muscles and their imaginations as they discover the variety of ways to use this playground. We encourage families to come out and experience the new equipment. Adults may even find themselves playing like kids on it, too! Glen Helen Regional Park is the first park in the San Bernardino County Regional Parks system to receive this type of play equipment. The park is located at 2555 Glen Helen Parkway off I-15 in Devore.
