Next in line for Center Stage’s Broadway Series, following the success of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Dreamgirls is YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN! Executive Producer, Todd Vigiletti said “This show has been performed many times at other regional theaters, but I think we have something special to offer for our production at Center Stage. Our lighting and projection technology along with our intimate setting really give the audience the feeling that they are in the cartoon itself. It is should be a blast! Of course the show is great for children, but it is really a wonderful stand-alone show for adults as well. Our very special pricing for this event should make it affordable for everyone to come out and have a great time!”
Show Synopsis
The beloved Charles Schulz cartoon strip comes to life on the stage! A program note says that the time of the action is “an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” It really is just that, a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine’s Day to baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together in a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlight evening.
The Cast
YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN features an all-star cast, including TIBBIES’ favorites Shane Cottrell as Snoopy, Jarred Barnard as Charlie Brown, Marissa Cottrell as Sally, Hannah Wolgemuth as Lucy, Stanton Morales as Linus, and introducing Brandon Armstrong as Schroeder.
The Details
Center Stage is pleased to announce that the new lower priced dinner and show options that were introduced last season are continuing into the new season without a price increase! There is also a special family package discount for selected dates – Call box office for more details!
New Menu
Dinner and show prices range from $39.95 – $49.95. Entrée choices for dinner guests are a top sirloin entrée, almond crusted Mahi Mahi entrée, roasted garlic chicken entrée or vegetarian pasta entrée. VIP seating is available for an additional $10.00. There is also a special Saturday Matinee Family of 4 Package for $89.00. This package features premium all beef hotdogs served with golden French fries. Cocktails, beer, wine, and a la carte appetizers and desserts are available as well to all show attendees who have not purchased dinner.
Adults may enjoy the show without dinner for only $15.00, and children for only $10.00! Dinner and show performances are Saturdays at 1:00pm & 6:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm, March 29 – April 6, 2014. (Show-only patrons should arrive 45 minutes after dinner & show
