Grant Development in the Public Sector Workshop Offered by Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning

San Bernardino – Despite current economic conditions, federal and state grant funding is still available for qualified organizations.  Learn how to find these sources in “Grant Development in the Public Sector,” a workshop offered by Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning on Sat., May 7.  Students will learn about the Request for Proposal process and how to submit proposals electronically.  In class activities include a review of funding guidelines, applications and standard forms.  Students will have the opportunity to review and critique an actual application for federal funding.

This workshop is one of eight in the college’s comprehensive Certificate in Grant Development and Management.  Workshops may be taken individually with no obligation to complete the certificate.  “Grant Development in the Public Sector” will be held on Sat., May 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cal State San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center.  The workshop fee is $140 per person (includes materials).  Enrollment is limited to ensure hands-on instruction time for every student.
