Grant Writing Certificate Offered by Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning

12/21/10 – As funding cutbacks continue in public sector and non-profit organizations, gain a competitive edge by learning the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in grant development and management. The College of Extended Learning offers a one-day workshop, “Funding Source Development” as part of its comprehensive Certificate in Grant Development and Management. Topics covered in the workshop include awareness of federal, state, local and private grant funding; searching for funding opportunities on the Web; and using SPIN (Sponsored Programs Information Network) software.

The workshop costs $140 per person (includes class materials and .6 Continuing Education Units) and will be held on Sat., Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cal State San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center. Enrollment is limited to ensure hands-on instruction time for every student.
