Claremont, Ca – Supporting their mission to prevent child abuse in our community, the West End Auxiliary of Children’s Fund will host their annual gala and home tour fundraiser on April 20 and 21. New to the event this year will be a Champions For Children Gala on Friday, April 20 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Claremont. Pro Football Hall of Famer, Eric Dickerson, will be the featured speaker along with Dr. Ciriaco “Cid” Pinedo, President and CEO of Children’s Fund.

The event will include a silent auction featuring autographed sports memorabilia, jewelry, and hand-made quilts along with many other one-of-a-kind items. In addition, the auxiliary will host a Fund-A-Cause activity to support a summer sports camp dedicated to needy children. Hors d oeuvres and champagne will be provided for those who attend.

Three unique homes will be on tour in Claremont from 9:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, only.   The tour will feature a mid-century modern residence at 2535 N. Mountain Ave, an Asian-inspired home at 1047 E. Pomelo Drive, and a Tuscany charmer at 4438 Rocky Mountain.
