Happy August! We wanted to take a few minutes to share with you what is going on at Foothill Family Shelter.
- Our food pantry is empty and we really need your help.Please help us restock our shelves so we can continue serving those in need.
- Stop by our office Aug. 19th from 4:00-6:00pm and check out the jewelry collection. All proceeds will support Foothill Family Shelter.
- Our next Electronic Waste event is Sat. October 2 from 8:00am to 1:00pm so please start collecting your old/nonworking electronics–another great way to support
- The Children’s Department has recently developed an internship program with exciting opportunities. Please contact us to request more info.
Our parenting programs will resume in Sept. Harold Cares About Your Future (10-weeks) begins Tue. Sept. 14th and Big Steps for Little Feet (11-weeks) begins Thur. Sept. 9th. Both programs run from 6:00-7:30pm and we are in need of: mentors, volunteers to provide a meal (we have a budget for this), and volunteers to provide on site childcare. Harold Cares About Your Future serves teen moms 14-21 who are pregnant or parenting and Big Steps for Little Feet serves mothers, fathers and grandparents who are raising children 0-5.
