Apple Valley, CA – See history come to life at “A Night at the Victor Valley Museum” on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This popular event, featuring reenactors playing the parts of High Desert notables and pioneers, is suitable for all ages. Tickets, which cost $10 for adults age 16 and above and $5 for children ages 5 through 15, will be available at the door or can be purchased in advance at the Victor Valley Museum in Apple Valley. Ticket price includes museum admission.
The evening includes refreshments and opportunity drawings. Visitors use “passports” to guide themselves through the museum, along the way meeting personalities such as William S. Hart, Myra McGinnis, Penny Morrow, Litta Belle Campbell, and Doris Davies. All funds raised at the event will go toward supporting programs and operations at this High Desert branch of the San Bernardino County Museum.
“A Night at the Museum” and the County Museum’s other exciting events and exhibits reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.
The Victor Valley Museum is a branch of the San Bernardino County Museum located at 11873 Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 (adult), $4 (senior or military), and $2.50 (student).
