History Division Seeks Handy Volunteers

The History Division is currently seeking volunteers to help with the preservation and maintenance of the San Bernardino County Museum historic sites. There are 6 historic sites throughout the county Agua Mansa Pioneer Cemetery in Colton, Asistencia in Redlands, John Rains House in Rancho Cucamonga, Stone Hotel in Daggett, Yorba and Slaughter Families Adobe in Chino, and Yucaipa Adobe in Yucaipa.

“We would like a few good hands that like to work with tools, and love history!” said Curator of History Michele Nielsen. “Volunteers will have the chance to work on interesting projects and learn about maintenance of historic properties.”

For more information, contact Michele Nielsen at mnielsen@sbcm.sbcounty.gov or (909) 307-2669 ext. 240. Volunteer applications are also available on our websitewww.sbcountymuseum.org.
