Hop into Art!

Enjoy an evening of learning and creating art at the San Bernardino County Museum on Friday, September 24 from 5:30 to 8:30pm. An Arts, Naturally!initiative supported by a grant from the James Irvine Foundation, this event is included in paid museum admission with children admitted at half-price.

From 5:30 to 6:30pm, visitors will create art and meet several professional artists who will show their artwork and guide visitors by showing some new techniques.

From 6:30 to 7:30pm, Daniel Foster, Director of the Community Foundation Serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, will moderate a round-table discussion on art in non-traditional venues like the museum with artists Terry Long, Joey Novotny, Dan Nguyen, Christine Curry, Raul Acero, and Margo Martus. The art projects for kids will continue during this discussion. After the discussion, art projects will continue for everyone.

The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9am to 5pm. Admission fee for this evening is $8 (adult), $6 (military or senior), $5 (student) and $2 (child aged 5 to 12).
