On May 1, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. sharp a meeting will be held by the Inland Empire Debating Society at Denny’s restaurant in Redlands. Take the Alabama off ramp going north and just as you get over the freeway look for the Denny’s restaurant. It is right there on the right Anyone interested is becoming a member of the club may join for $l5.00 per year. Students may join without paying yearly dues. There is a $500 scholarship available which will be awarded to a qualified student, annually.

The speaker scheduled for May 1, 2011 at approximately 5:00 p.m.will discuss the following:

LiNK, or Liberty in North Korea, is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about the human rights and humanitarian crisis in North Korea through the use of media and grassroots support. In addition the effort is to redefine the North Korea crisis through creative storytelling, while providing emergency relief to North Korean refugees and pursuing an end to the human rights crisis

The debate session at the meetings starts at 4:00 p.m. on the date mentioned above and will concern the subject chosen by the president of the club.
