Inland Empire United Way – Help Us Give Kids The Tools They Need To Succeed In School

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]ach year, thousands of children go back to school without the supplies they need to learn and succeed. Most schools now ask parents to purhcase a substantial list of supplies at the beginning of the school year.  But for families who are struggling to put food on the table, school supplies cannot be provided and continued cuts to academic budgets prevent teachers from being able to provide extra supplies – ultimately compromising a child’s ability to be successful in school.

But you can help be part of the solution by hosting a school supply drive this summer anytime between July 15th -August 31st. With back-to-school specials starting to hit the stores, summer time is the perfect time to host a school supply drive! We’re looking for organizations and companies to host supply drives and collect the following items:

• Crayons
• Markers
• Scissors
• Glue Sticks
