Inland Empire Woman’s Business Center Hosts Workshop On How To Start A Business – San Bernardino, CA

INLAND EMPIRE WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER HOSTS WORKSHOP ON HOW TO START A BUSINESS

San Bernardino, Calif. — The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will hold a low-cost workshop on Thursday, April 12, in San Bernardino to help people considering launching a new business or who are at the beginning stages of operating their own businesses.

“Successful Start-Ups: The ABCs of Starting Your Own Business,” will be from 6-8 p.m. at the center located at 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100 in Ontario. Cost is $10 for those who preregister online, or $15 at the door. Space is limited, so register early by visiting www.iewbc.org/workshops, or call 909-890-1242. The interactive session will focus on the role of an entrepreneur, and will present the steps to take when starting a business.

Participants will receive contact information for the myriad of government and business entities that are part of the start-up process. The workshop also will have information on funding sources for local existing and aspiring small business owners.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners. The program provides targeted services to Latina business owners – the fastest growing group of women who own businesses in the country – by providing services in English and Spanish.
