INLAND EMPIRE Youth Theatres Receive National Award Recognition

INLAND EMPIRE YOUTH THEATRES RECEIVE NATIONAL AWARD RECOGNITION

The National Youth Arts announced their 7th annual arts nominations and awards for the 2011-2012 season. Eight Inland Empire youth theatre groups (Act I Theater Arts, Fine Arts Network, La Sierra High School, Redlands High School, Riverside Children’s Theatre, Riverside Youth Theatre, Temecula Performing Arts Company, and Vista Murrieta High School) were honored with 13 awards and 44 nominations. Awards and nominations were acknowledged at two California ceremonies:
California (theatres in Northern California, LA & Orange Counties, Inland Empire)

Sunday, June 17 at the Loats Theater, on the campus of Newport Harbor High in Newport Beach.
North San Diego County (including theatres in Southern Riverside County)

Monday, July 23 at 7:30 pm at the Carlsbad Cultural Center, 3557 Monroe Avenue in Carlsbad.
