Instruction Course for Teachers Offered by College of Extended Learning

Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning offers a one-day course for elementary through high school teachers on Sat., Oct. 2.  The intensive course, “Raise Test Scores with Five-Minute Reading and Writing Activities,” will give teachers quick and easy ways to enhance California Standards lessons.  Projects and activities presented in class can be adapted to suit different grade levels.  The resulting lessons will bring interest, excitement and enjoyment back into the classroom.  Handouts will be provided in a three-ring binder.

“Raise Test Scores with Five-Minute Reading and Writing Activities” will be held on Sat., Oct. 2, from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in Cal State San Bernardino’s Yasuda Center.  The registration fee is $150, which includes one unit of university credit and all materials provided in class.  Teachers should dress comfortably and bring the California Writing Standards for their grade, as well as paper, pens or pencils, scissors, a glue stick and a sack lunch.
