Jeni Bate “Painting the Skies” in Fontana

Jeni Bate “Painting the Skies” in Fontana

Fontana, California,  The Mayor and City Council invite the public to visit the Art Depot Gallery and view Jeni Bate’s exhibit, Skyscapes for the Soul.

Bate’s artwork will be on display from April 2nd-May 25th. Bate specializes in water color painting and uses a technique called “refractured water painting” which is painting the same image several times but with different colors.
Bate uses other materials such as acrylic, gouache and oil paintings. With these tools she envisions the beauty of the sky and portrays the skies in a calm and serene setting. “I paint the skies with peace and passion because that’s the way they paint me,” said Jeni in an artist statement, “the sky remains the major influence in my work.”

The Art Depot Gallery is located at 16822 Spring St. and is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Fridays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
