Workforce & Training Coordinator – Riverside, CA
GRID Alternatives Inland Empire Workforce and Volunteer Department is seeking a qualified candidate.
Responsibilities include; recruit training participants, develop, coordinate and teach curriculum for GRID IE’s Solar Futures Program, advertise, recruit and support trainings for hands-on solar installations, participate in orientations, solar workshops and more.

Our team-oriented, passionate, and results-driven GRID Alternatives Inland Empire (GRID IE) regional office, which serves Riverside, San Bernardino, and Inyo Counties, is looking for a full-time Workforce & Training Coordinator to work directly with the Workforce & Volunteer Manager to coordinate and expand our workforce development and volunteerism programs to meet/exceed aggressive program, operational, and development goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in education
- Experience working with vocational programs, high schools, and/or colleges
- Experience in public speaking
- Experience with volunteer management
- Lives and has relevant connections in the Inland Empire
- Bi-literate English/Spanish
- Knowledge and/or experience in energy efficiency, solar energy, Salesforce, Google Sketch-up, ArcGIS
- Adobe Creative Suite software, multimedia, social media, sales and/or marketing a plus
Compensation:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Compensation commensurate with experience.
