Redlands, Calif. Are nations between India and Japan preparing for growth? How sustainable will these infrastructure projects be? Will there be another bust or boom cycle? These are some of the topics that the International Academic Forum will be discussing at the 3rd Asian Business and Management Conference (ABMC). Johannes Moenius, University of Redlands School of Business associate professor, is scheduled to speak at the event and discuss the geographic profile of an economic crisis.
The ABMC event brings together experts and leaders from the academic and business world to cover both policy and research on Asia’s recovering economy. Academic and business representatives in attendance will be able to both reflect on the recent past and look forward, exchange ideas, and share research findings.
Dr. Moenius has been a visiting scholar at the University of Tokyo and is the William R. and Sue Johnson endowed Chair of the Spatial Economic Analysis and Regional Planning at the University of Redlands School of Business as well as the Director of the Institute of Spatial and Economic Analysis. He has presented his work in more than 80 talks at universities, conferences, and government institutions. His work has appeared, in The Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Development Economics, and the International Journal of Industrial Organization. Most recently he presented at the Inland Empire Economic Partnership’s State of the Region in April 2012.
The conference will be held from Friday, November 16 to Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Osaka, Japan. ABMC encourages submissions within and across a variety of disciplines and fields related to Business, Management and Economics.
