Kiwanis of San Bernardino to be honored at
Foundation’s 10th Year Anniversary Gala
San Bernardino, CA – The Kiwanis of San Bernardino is scheduled to receive the Community Service Award by Time for Change Foundation for their dedication and commitment to providing and serving community programs and services.
The Kiwanis of San Bernardino will be honored at the Foundation’s 10th Year Anniversary Gala, to be held at the National Orange Show Events Center. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on April 12, 2012.
“The Kiwanis of San Bernardino has done so much by serving our community unselfishly and wholeheartedly,” said the agency’s Director of Communications John Kunkel, “They lead by example, and we are honored to give them the Community Service Award.”
The Kiwanis Club of San Bernardino was formed on August 30, 1922 and has embraced the Kiwanis International Motto, “We Build” and has been building ever since. The mission of the Kiwanis is to serve the children of the world, one child, and one community at a time. With more than 8,400 clubs in 96 nations, there are about 606,608 active members in the Kiwanis family, representing nearly every culture on every continent, all seeking to improves people’s lives.
