Manufacturers’ Summit 2014 Registration is Now Open

Ontario, CA [December 20, 2013]—The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) announced that registration for the 2014 Manufacturers’ Summit is officially open.

The Summit, to be held at the OntarioConvention Center on February 21st, has sold out in the past three years. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early to ensure a seat. Early bird rates for tickets and tables are on sale until December 31st, 2013.

“The event will offer Breakout Sessions to address multiple issues facing manufacturers, including topics such as: Commercializing, Sales Growth, and Export; Innovation for Growth and Increased Sales; Changing the Workplace to Attract the Next Generation; Resource and Energy Innovation; Building the Workforce Pipeline; and Environmental Compliance Issues Explored,” stated Summit Chair and Manufacturer Wally Brithinee, President of Brithinee Electric, the largest motor and generator repair and sales facility in Southern California.

Manufacturing Innovation Awards will be awarded, giving companies a chance to showcase the ingenuity of their company in three areas: Innovation in Resource Efficiency, Innovation in Marketing, and Innovation in Workforce Development. Winners will receive recognition at the event, including time to present their innovation, and PR after the event.

Inland Empire Manufactures, from both Riverside and San BernardinoCounties, may also display their manufactured goods at the “Made in the Inland Empire” exhibit.

The Manufacturers’ Summit is an annual event bringing manufacturers, colleges, vendors and agencies together to explore and find solutions for issues manufactures face. The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) was founded in 2005. In early December, the Council became a strategic partner with the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. Programming is designed to help manufactures find solutions for issues including: employment and training, research, regulatory compliance, import and export, and funding. The Council provides a strong, unified voice when communicating with regional, state and national entities on issues impacting the region.
