Marketing 101 Workshop

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host a workshop on Thursday, August 11, to help people who are considering launching a new business or who already operate their own business.

“Marketing 101” is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. at the center’s office, 202 East Airport Drive, Suite 100, in San Bernardino, just off of Hospitality Lane. The cost is $15 to pre-register online or $20 at the door.

The workshop will be an interactive discussion by Barry Davis from Ideabox Marketing & Design. Barry will share insight on developing a marketing strategy and discuss the various marketing tools you can use – including branding, advertising, public relations, event marketing, word of mouth, online tools and much more.

The Inland Empire Women’sBusinessCenteris a program of the Inland Empire Centerfor Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The IEWBC provides business counseling, training and mentoring designed for women business owners.

The program provides services in English and Spanish to Latina business owners, currently the fastest growing group of women business owners in the country.

The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center’s hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only. The center also has a part-time outreach office inCorona, where it meets clients by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
