Mayor Warren of Fontana Challenges Mayor Allevato of San Juan Capistrano on the outcome of CIF East Valley Division Championship Game!

Fontana, California, December 3, 2013. The Mayor and City Council invite the community to cheer on Jurupa Hills High School’s football team at the CIF East Valley Division Championship Game. “I am thrilled that the Spartan’s will be playing for their first CIF Championship. There is so much pride shared in this community because of Fontana’s long history of CIF success I am so certain that this will be another win for this community that I challenged the Mayor of the opposing city.” If Jurupa Hills wins, Mayor Acquanetta Warren will host Mayor Sam Allevato at the March NASCAR race at the Autoclub Speedway. If St. Margaret’s wins, Mayor Allevato will host Mayor Warren at a tour of the Mission San Juan Capistrano and lunch in the Historic Los Rios District.

Coach Edward McMillon of Jurupa Valley added that we need all of the support the Fontana Community can provide. This is our 4th year in existence and this is a historic event. We need and are looking to everyone for support. Coach McMillon said, “This bet between Mayor Acquanetta Warren and the opposing team’s Mayor shows this will be a win for all of Fontana.”

Please join Mayor Warren and members of the City Council on Saturday, December 7th to support and applaud the Jurupa Hills Spartans. The game will begin at 7:00 pm at the Jurupa Hills High School 10700 Oleander Ave., Fontana.
