WASHINGTON D.C. – Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) today released a new video, in an outreach initiative to the community and small businesses, on www.AmericanJobCreators.com.  Through this medium, McKeon aims to gather personal stories and feedback from constituents, Californians and job creators locally and nationally about how government regulations impact the business market and growth opportunities.

“The strength of the American economy lies in the hands of its people,” said McKeon.  “And small, private businesses are the strongest engines for economic prosperity. It is important that your business has the opportunity to flourish, prosper, and have a meaningful chance to succeed, without government intrusion or overregulation.  It is not the government’s role to interject burdensome redtape, but rather, to create an environment for you and your business that promotes stable and increasing job creation.

“These overreaching and intrusive policies must come to an end.  American businesses of all sizes deserve the opportunity to thrive in today’s fast-paced world; therefore we must teardown the bureaucratic barriers that have been placed on business,” McKeon continued.

“So we turn to you — the hard-working American, who understands what is holding your individual businesses back.  I want to personally hear from you. What has the government done that has become an impediment to your business? What can Washington do to help make your business more efficient and effective in today’s market?

“I want to take this conversation out of Washington, D.C. and bring it straight to the people of California’s 25th district.”

By visiting AmericaJobCreators.com, innovators have the opportunity to voice their detailed opinion about how Washington is impacting their business and what government can do to help.

McKeon concludes the video, “I am committed to restoring the American Dream and getting American’s back to work. Please let me know what I can do to help.”
